DIVA CONVERSION ADAPTOR LIGHTGUIDES

Our DIVA Conversion Adaptors converts most conventional zero degree laparoscopes to the MITI DIVA LightGuide System. The Conversion Adaptors will be offered in the same 0, 15, 22 and 30 degree angles as well as custom angles on an individualized basis. Like the DIVA LightGuides, our Conversion Adaptors can also be rotated a full continuous 360 degrees by rotating the LightGuide itself. They utilize the DIVA LightGuide technology, sliding over the outer diameter of the conventional laparoscope, and are secured at the proximal end of the device.

The integral optics and light illumination extender located at the distal end interfaces with the objective lens of the laparoscope to channel the image from the off-axis angular position at the prescribed angle for internal illumination into the optical telescope’s objective lens system, displaying the image on a medical video system in the usual manner. The LightGuides will be available to fit with the individual original manufacturers’ products.
