DIVA DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL OFFICE SYSTEM

Today, more and more surgical procedures are performed on an out-patient basis, many in dedicated rooms of a doctor’s office. This is both better for the patient, and more cost efficient. It also generates additional revenue for surgeons.

In recognition of this growing trend, MITI has designed its low cost DIVA Diagnostic Medical Office System as a diagnostic package for in-office use. The System includes a video monitor, our Digital Imaging System, and either a conventional light source or our Multispectral Pulsed Light Source. The DIVA Diagnostic Medical Office System is designed to be compatible with all current endoscopes However, when used with the DIVA Laparoscopic System, the combined system offers such additional advantages as disposability, interchangeability, improved ease of use and reduced cost.

Although the System’s components can be purchased separately, when combined as an integrated package, the DIVA Diagnostic Medical Office System provides enhanced capabilities not available elsewhere. In addition, the System can integrate a patient’s history, diagnostic and surgical history, and surgical images, storing them in the computer’s data base.

System components are integrated and controlled by camera software which generates video images for several different types of monitors, including: TSC monitors used in surgery; VGA monitors used by computers; DVI monitors used for dynamic viewing; and HDTV monitors used for exceptional monitors. A VGA monitor is standard with the DIVA Diagnostic Medical Office System. Image quality is equal to, or greater than that offered by existing camera systems, but at a fraction of the cost.

In addition to matching features that are now available on most camera systems, our camera panel layout includes input/output capabilities, as well as flash memory, internet access, high speed sequencing, and hardware and software safety systems.
